Ben Kizaric is a Data Scientist and Software Engineer at Lineal, an eDiscovery company. He completed his Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering at UW Madison under Daniel Pimentel Alarcon. His work has been featured at conferences like AAAI and CPAL.
Durring his time at the SOL lab, his work focused on the intersecion of supervised and unsupervised learning, culminating in a generatlization of subspace clustering and PCA called the "Principal Component Tree". Although he has since left academia, the reasearch continues- particularly in leveraging PCT to learn efficient large laguage models.
In his free time, he enjoys board games with friends & his fiance, reading at coffee shops, hanging out with his cat, and running (slowly). He lives in Athens, Georgia.
