Siddharth Baskar is a Ph.D. student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at UW-Madison with Professor Daniel Pimenetel-Alarcón. His specialization is in Artificial Intelligence with a research interest in matrix completion, computer vision, and subspace clustering. He obtained his MS in ECE - Machine Learning and Signal Processing at UW-Madison.
Siddharth's current research interest lies in studying the behaviour of neural networks and how they preserve clustering structure. Along with this he is also exploring the use of GANs and LLMs for clustering and mathematical reasoning. His research work has been recognized through publications in widely recognized conferences like AAAI and ISIT.
In his free time Sidd enjoys playing tennis, video games, and biking.
